Architect grind
The stub’s mirror: thin down-strokes, broad cross-strokes.
An architect (or Hebrew/Arabic) grind flips the italic logic — the tipping is shaped so vertical strokes come out thin and horizontals broad. The effect suits print handwriting and any script where horizontal emphasis reads naturally.
It is a specialist custom grind with a narrow sweet spot; buy from a nibmeister, not a lottery.
