A nib tip cut at an angle for rotated grips.
An oblique nib is ground at a slant — usually left-foot, cut down toward the left — so writers who naturally rotate the pen still land the full tipping surface on paper.
It is a fit correction more than an effect: if your standard nib writes scratchy only at your natural hold, an oblique may be the answer.
